Barbara Ann Summers, 68, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at her home.

She was born in Anna, IL on April 14, 1947 to the late Carl Eugene and Ruby V. (Barker) Dillow.

She was a homemaker and mother and was of the Baptist faith. She had lived in the Princeton area for 40 years. 

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie H. Summers to whom she was married on December 31, 1964 in Belleville, IL; 2 sons, Jeff (Amy) Summers of Bloomington, IN and Brian (Tiawannia) Summers of Huntsville, AL; 3 grandchildren, Rachael, Nicholas and Ashley Summers; a sister, Shelby (Bill) Adam of Mobile, AL; a brother, Dennis Dillow of O’Fallon, IL; also several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, Anthony Wayne “Tony” Summers in 1992 and Gregory Allen “Greg” Summers in 1995; and a brother, Ronald Dillow. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will follow at the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
