Marjorie C. Straw age 82, of Princeton, IN passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Princeton, IN.

She was born September 10, 1933 in Patoka, IN to Herbert and Ellen Slinker Phillips.

On July 25, 1964, in Princeton, IN, she was married to James Edward Straw who preceded her in death on June 10, 2013.

Marge worked as a laborer at Hurst Manufacturing for 20 plus years. She was also a beloved member of Bethel Memorial Church working in the AWANA program for many years.

Surviving are sons; James Jr. (Bonnie) Straw of Mt Vernon, IN, Mark (Tammy) Straw of Petersburg, IN and Danny (Caroline) Straw of Sanborn, IN. Also surviving is a daughter, Charlene McClellan of Owensville, IN, 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and her brother, William James Phillips and sister, Ruth Burns.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday January 30, 2016 at Bethel Memorial Church, located at 1520 S. Main St. Princeton, IN

A private internment (Columbia Cemetery)will take place at a later date. The family has entrusted Doyle Funeral Home with arrangements.
