Flora Mae Sloan, 87, of Princeton, passed away on
Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Home in Oakland City.
She was born August 20, 1928 in Winslow, IN to Clyde
and Nellie (Noland) Graves.
She worked several years at Hansen’s Manufacturing and
at Eads Cleaners. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Princeton.
She is survived by nieces and nephews, including special nieces, Kathie
Garrett, Karen Paul and Peggy Becker; sisters-in-law, Lavada
(Arlis) Cundiff and
Christine Pearson; and a half-brother, George White.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Sloan in 2014; son,
Mark David Sloan in 2013; infant son, Harry Samuel Sloan Jr.; 2 sisters, Betty
Lou Miskell and Norma Jean Neubling;
half-brother, Carson White and a half-sister, Martha Arvin.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will be in the Decker Cemetery near Patoka.
Visitation will be from 12 until 2 PM on Sunday at the
Colvin Funeral Home.
