Larry Joe Morrison, 65 of Princeton passed away Friday, January 1, 2016 at the Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

He was born April 2, 1950 in Patoka to John and Daisy (Harvey) Morrison. 

He had lived in Princeton most of his life and had previously worked in maintenance for Duke Energy Power Plant. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and he enjoyed fishing. 

He is survived by 4 children, Stacy (Randy) Beard of Jasper, Chris Kunkel of Patoka, Joseph “Shane” Morrison and Chandra Riley of Princeton; 2 sisters, Jean Adcock of Patoka and Janice Godbe of GA; 2 brothers, Rick Morrison and John Morrison of Princeton; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Rose Street and Ann Roth and a brother, David Morrison. 

There will be a Memorial Service 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Jeff Bryant officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until service time on Tuesday.
