Robert H. Moade, 84, of
Princeton passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016.
He was born on April 28, 1931 in Mt. Carmel, IL to
Herman and Cynthia (Day) Moade.
He had lived in Princeton since 1957, coming from Mt.
Carmel, IL. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Mt. Carmel, IL. He was a
machinist at Pacific Press and Sheer for 22 years, a teacher at P.C.H.S in
Machine Trades for 15 years, and a former broker for W & F Realty. He was a
US Navy Veteran during the Korean War. Bob coached little league baseball for
over 14 years, was a member of the Prince Masonic Lodge #231 for 51 years, a
member of the American Legion Post#423 in Mt. Carmel, and a member of the VFW
#4276 in Mt. Carmel. He was an avid Princeton Sports fan
He is survived by his 3 sons, Michael Moade of St.
Louis, Mo, Matthew Moade of Princeton, and Mitchel
(Sherri) Moade of Princeton; 1 godchild, Kimberly
Leonard of Greenwood, IN; 5 grandchildren, Lance, Malakye,
Dometri, Carter, and Camdyn Moade;
great granddaughter, Riley Moade; and several nieces
and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Doris Moade
in 2001; a brother, Donald R. Moade; and a sister,
Mary E. Sparks.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 8, 2016 at Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Jeremy Henson. Burial will be at
the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 3 until 8 pm on Thursday and
from 9 am until service time on Friday at the funeral home. A Masonic Service
will be held at 7:30 pm on Thursday evening. Military graveside services will
be conducted by Retired Military Veterans.
