Mary (Betty) Hirsch, 91, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at River Oaks Health Campus.

She was born to the late Albert & Rose (Obert) Martin on June 22, 1924 in Haubstadt and resided there all her life.

She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella, and Altar Society. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Roy in 2003; son, Ed in 2013; daughter, Sue Clemens in 1987; brother, Ron Martin; sister, Margie Adler.

Surviving are her children: Bob (Mary) Hirsch of Haubstadt, (Linda) Hirsch of Greenfield IN, Shirley (Ric) Myers of Stone Mountain GA, Jackie (Greg) Bent of Fort Branch, Peggy (Roger) Buente of Boonville, Kenny (Sue) Hirsch of Haubstadt, Donnie (Nancy) Hirsch of Evansville, and Jane (Don) Rhodes of Haubstadt. 22 Grandchildren: Steve Hirsch, Shelly Greer, Theresa Shrink, Amy Dutkiewicz, Brad Hirsch, Brandon Hirsch, Michael Myers, Daniel Myers, Andy Bent, Rebecca Roberts, Scott Bent, Chris Bent, Jarod Buente, Brian Hirsch, Adam Hirsch, Laura Johanning, Mark Bailey, David Hirsch, Erick Hirsch, Valerie Zimmer, Jessica Zimmerman, Jason Rhodes. 24 great grandchildren. Brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws: Janet Martin, Eileen & Wilbur Young, Mary Ellen Ziliak, Jim & Jenny Hirsch, Frankie Hirsch & Augie & Melody Hirsch. A Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, February 1, 2016 at 11 am at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-8 pm Sunday, January 31 at Wade Funeral Home with a rosary service beginning at 1:30 pm. Friends may also call from 10:00 am until Mass time Monday at the church.
