Callie Lucille “Lucy” Nelson, 81, of Princeton, went home to heaven on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the Evansville Protestant Home.

She was born December 14, 1933 in Mt. Vernon, IN to James and Mary Alice (Kitchel) Kessler.

She was a member of the Fairview Presbyterian Church. She loved her children and grandchildren. 

She is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanne (John) Stevens and Kim (Larry) Miller all of Princeton; 5 grandchildren, Angie (Jason) Wolf, Chris (Erin) Stevens, Greg (Abby) Stevens, Melissa (Josh) Miller and Bethany (Rusty) Reeves; and 12 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frederick “Fred” Nelson on June 24, 2013; and 3 brothers, Phillip, John and Ken Kessler. 

Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Bethel Memorial Church, 1520 South Main St., Princeton, In 47670, with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Presbyterian Church Cemetery near Francisco.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am until service time on Thursday at the church. Colvin Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
