Evelyn “Chris” Mitchell, 52, of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at her home in Evansville.

She was born November 1, 1963 in East St. Louis, IL to Johnnie William and Marilyn (Hall) Butts.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Princeton. 

She is survived by her 2 children, Daniel (Brooke) Mitchell and Jordan Mitchell; 2 grandchildren, Bryce Mitchell and Catalyn Alexis Mitchell; brother, Timothy M. Butts; sister, Charlene D. Houchins; and her fiancé, Warren Knight. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Johnie Ray Butts. 

Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will be in the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 pm on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Colvin Funeral Home.
