She was born on November 30, 1959 in Jasper, IN to Leonard Blaize & Elzena (Leighty) Strain.

Janet was a member of Mackey Church of The Nazarene. And was the Secretary of
Southern Indiana Holiness Association in Oakland City, IN. 
She is survived by husband of 20 years Paul E. Johnston; Daughter: Nora Johnston of Petersburg, IN; Mother: Elzena Strain of Petersburg, IN; Brothers: Jeff Blaize of Missouri and Jason Blaize of Princeton, IN

Funeral services will be on Saturday December 5, 2015 10:00 AM at Mackey Church of The Nazarene. Rev. Chip Bullock will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Friday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel and from 8:00 A.M. until services on Saturday at the Church.
