Willa Mae Dickey 94 of Evansville formerly of Oakland City
entered rest on Wednesday December 2, 2015 at River Pointe Health Campus.
She was born on July 2, 1921 in Palmyra, IN to Glen Charles & Ruth Mae (Liechty) Bond.
Willa was preceded in death by Her Parents, Brothers Charles
Ed Bond and Glen Richard Bond and her Husband Cecil Dickey in Dec. 6, 1986
She was a School Teacher in East Gibson School Corp for 20
years. And a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she services
as Choir Director and member of the Missionary Women’s Society. After she
retired she taught English and worked in the Library at Oakland City
University. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa form 1978-1980 and the
Philharmonic Club from 1981-1983.
Survived by daughters: Ruth Ann (Jeffrey) Stillwell of
Evansville, IN and Anita McGillem of Princeton, IN,
Sisters: Janice Lee Bond Defelice of Princeton, IN
and Patricia Ann Bond Boger of Evansville, IN. Grandchildren: Katie
(Justin) Provines , Nathan & Amanda Stilwell,
Heath & Heather McGillem, Great Grandchildren:
Bentley McGillem, Mason Lee and Eli Frederick
Stilwell, Jensen Wayne Provines.
Services will be Monday Dec. 7, 2015 at 10:00 A.M.at the Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with Dr. Douglas Low and Rev. Larry Stoops officiating. Burial will take place in Montgomery Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00 P.M. Sunday at the Chapel.
