Barbara Alice Ward, 85, of Princeton, passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 at the Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
She was born Dec. 25, 1929 in Owensville, to the late William Franklin and Mary Alice (Conner) Kendle.
Barbara was a homemaker.
She leaves to cherish her memory, 6 children, Debbie (Mike) Cuzzort
of Princeton, Norman Fisher of Oakland City, Mike (Melinda) Ward of Evansville,
Missy (Wayne) Donohoo of Buckskin, Jim (Pam) Bailey
of Francisco and Larry (Karen) Bailey of Denver, Colorado; 18 grandchildren; 14
great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Paul David (Jane)
Kendle of Francisco and George (Amy) Kendle of Evansville; 2 step-sisters, Billie Alvis and
Beverly (Don) Clark both of Princeton; also several nieces, nephews and
cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Goldie Marie (Georges) Kendle; a brother, Dan Kendle a
sister, Helen Roeder; and her husband, Bill R. Ward in 1985.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015 at the Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will follow at the Columbia White Church
Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 4:30 until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
