Larry Paul “Lurch” Robertson , 69, of Princeton passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the University of Louisville Burn Center in Louisville, KY.
He was born on December 9, 1945 in Evansville, IN to
Clarence and Olivia (Kast) Robertson.
He was formerly of Evansville where he attended Mater Dei High School
graduating Class of 1965. He was a 10 year 4-H member.
He had been a long time Union Township farmer before moving to Princeton, IN.
He had last worked as a paper carrier in Princeton and Evansville for the
Evansville Courier, and had worked for Black Equipment in Evansville. In his
younger years he enjoyed boating, water skiing, riding motorcycles and hanging
out with his many friends. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in
Princeton, IN and the Knights of Columbus Council 1131.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Reneer) Robertson;
daughter, April (Jeremy) Newlin; son, Allen
Robertson; and was Pepaw to his three grandchildren, Caden, Kysten, and Kateri Newlin, all of Princeton.
Also surviving are brother, Earl (Grace Wagner) Robertson of Evansville;
sisters, Mildred (Lloyd) Stahl of Chandler, IN and Margaret “Maggie” Weber of
Evansville; his mother-in-law, Jenny Reneer of
Princeton; sisters and brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends;
He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Jim Reneer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, November 28, 2015
at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton, officiated by Fr. Ronald Zgunda. Burial will be at the St. Joseph Cemetery in
Princeton.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 pm on Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton where Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM.
