Mary Means Lower, 93, formerly of Princeton, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015 in Indianapolis where she had lived for 10 years.
She was born May 30, 1922 in Wayne City, IL.
She also lived in Florida when she left the Princeton area before she moved to Indianapolis.
She was a homemaker and a hairdresser. She attended the
Broadway Christian Church in Princeton. She was a member of the Order of
Eastern Star Golden Fleece Chapter in Princeton.
She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, John and Mary Ann (Hauck)
Means of Avon, IN; 3 grandchildren, J.R. (Yolanda) Means, Lisa (Jim) Kelley and
Kyle Means; 4 great grandchildren, Ali Means, Parker Means, Kanon
Kelley, Abran Means.
She was preceded in death by her parents; George & Laveda
Hoopengardner; 1st husband, William Beryl Means in
1978; and a sister, Ruby Russell.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at the
Walnut Hill Cemetery in Ft. Branch. Burial will follow. There will be no
visitation. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with
arrangements.
