Edgar A. Hardiman, 76, of rural Princeton passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the VNA Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville.
He was born on June 22, 1939 in Lyle Station, IN.
He graduated from Princeton High School where he was a
member of the track team. He retired after 39 years from Whirlpool in 2002. He
was a member of the Wayman Chapel Church. He loved
farming, outdoors and nature. He had a gift of art and painting and loved
people and enjoyed life.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen (Darrell) Ragland of Evansville, IN; son,
Michael (Nida) Hardiman of Los Angeles, CA; nephew,
John (Rose) White Jr of Milwaukee, WI; 5 step-children; 25 grandchildren; 20
great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Irene Martin.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Hardiman
in 2001; wife, Joyce Lee Grimes Hardiman in 2007;
son, Mark Hardiman; and a sister, Ailene
Rose Hardiman White.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. George Madison Jr. Burial will be
at the Sand Hill Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 11 am until 1 pm on Saturday at the funeral home in Princeton.
