Mamie Rose Hadley, 69, of Princeton, passed away
Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015 at The Waters in Princeton.
She was born Sept. 2, 1946 in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, to
Charles Victor and Dolice (Conrad) Ivey.
She was a member of the Church of God in her early
years and then the Francisco Gospel Ministry in her later years.
She helped her husband Robert Hadley with their
business, Hadley Excavating.
She was a former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary
and the Francisco Saddle Club. She was a lifelong fan of Elvis Presley,
Princeton Communight High School basketball, Indiana
University basketball and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Hadley of
Princeton; two children, Dennis (Diane) Hadley of Hazleton and Rebecca Sheffer of Princeton; four grandchildren, Colton Dale
Hadley, Hadley Laine Sheffer,
Ainsley Breann Sheffer and Samantha Rose Kathryn Sheffer; a great nephew whom she raised, Bobby Dyson; three
brothers, Therne and Thurman Scott both of Princeton
and Leroy Scott of Anderson; two sisters, Judy Hart and Nancy Barrett both of
Evansville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her aunt and
uncle who raised her, Kern and Edna Scott, brothers, Delbert and Charles Scott;
and a sister, Joanne Butler.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov.
17, 2015 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Skip Farmer
officiating. Burial will be in Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday at
Colvin Funeral Home.
