Steven “Cannonball” Wayne Davis, 62, Owensville, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 at Deaconess Hospital.

Steven was born June 2, 1953, in Knox County, the son of William Wayne and Martha L. (Noland) Davis.

He graduated in 1972 from North Knox High School. He worked in maintenance for Duke Energy. Steve was a member of the Bicknell French Club, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Local 1393, Bicknell Elks, and National Rifle Association.

Steven is survived by his son, Robert Davis, of Poseyville; brother, David Davis and wife Judy, of Bicknell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and ex-wife, Robin Davis.

The family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 13, 2015 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bicknell Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. also at the funeral home with Rev. Seth Alexander officiating. He will be laid to rest at Bicknell Memorial Cemetery.
