Betty Jo (Martin) White, 73, passed away Wed. Oct. 21, 2015 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

She was born in Crittenden County, KY on March 9, 1942 daughter to Ivory Carmon and Mary Jewell (Ross) Martin.

Betty was a graduate of Crittenden County High School class of 1960 and a member of the Owensville General Baptist Church. She retired after 17 years of working as a banker for Fifth Third Bank, a job that she truly enjoyed. Betty was a cancer survivor that was very active with Relay for Life. She so enjoyed traveling with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 5l years, Don; sister, Alice Faye Jennings and brother, Bobby (Patricia) Martin; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Lavella Watson, Elizabeth Tandy and Emma Lou Smith; brother, Harold Douglas Martin.

Services will be held on Monday Oct. 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Holders Funeral Home with Bob Douglas officiating. Burial will be in the Owensville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday Oct. 25, 2015 from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
