Lelia “Madeline” Rose, 91, passed away Monday Oct. 12, 2015 at Transcendent Healthcare of Owensville.

She was born in Gibson County on June 15, 1924 daughter of Thomas Franklin and Amanda (Mobley) Rose.

Madeline was a homemaker and a member of the Apostolic Bible Church in Stewartsville.

Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis (Bob) Whittler; 2 grandchildren, Marvin (Bonnie) Whittler and Shirley Lynn Walther; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday Oct. 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Poseyville Cemetery with Pastor Greg Morrison officiating. Holders Funeral Home in Owensville is handling the arrangements.
