Lillian (Hickrod) Koberstein Majewski, 86 passed away Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015 at the Transcendent Healthcare Nursing Home in Owensville.
She was born in Princeton, May 7, 1929 to Clarence and Lilly
(Ringham) Hickrod.
Lillian retired from Potter and Brumfield where she worked
for 36 years. She had lived in Patoka for the past 7 years previously living in
Princeton and Bruceville. She was a member of the St.
Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton, and a former member of the V.F.W. Ladies
Auxiliary.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Merla and Mark Russell of Patoka, step-children, William Majewski of Edwardsport and Linda
Boyd of Bruceville; brother, Clarence Edward Hickrod of Evansville, sisters, Carol Ann Mason (James) of
Oakland City, Esther Jenkins (John) of Ft. Branch and Dottie Weber (Edwin) of
Ft. Branch; 3 grandchildren, Rebecca Whitehouse (Jason), Joseph Russell (Barb)
and Erin Sharma (Saurabh), 8 great grandchildren, Dakota and Amber Whitehouse, Cheyann Douglas, Severyn and Jett
Russell, Jade Scott, Saira and Arjun Sharma, 5 step
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, her husbands Elmer Koberstein in 1986
and Bill Majewski in 2003.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 19, 2015 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday with a Rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
