Emma J. Abrams, 84, of St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.
She was born September 10, 1930 in Gibson County, Indiana to August and Florence (Lucas) DeWeese.
She worked as a nurse’s aide. She moved to Florida from
Evansville in 2002. She was very spiritual and attended church regularly.
Emma is survived by 2 children, Dan W. Hunter of Sullivan and Lester Gene Mason
of Evansville; 4 grandchildren, Daniel, Joseph, and Corina Hunter, and Charity
(Hunter) Beachy; and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ulis
Abrams; and her sisters Mildred DeWeese and Pauline Tisdale.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside, 10 AM on Wednesday, September
16, 2015 at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, Indiana with Rev. Art
Christmas officiating. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is handling
arrangements.
