Linda "Rosie" Sokeland age 65, of Ft. Branch, IN went to meet her maker on Sunday, August 23, 2015. at Deaconess Hospital Main Campus located in Evansville, IN.

She was born in Princeton, IN on August 25, 1949 to Ron & Norma (Daugherty) Broadhurst and was a life long area resident.

She worked as an assistant manager at the K-mart of Princeton for many years.

On September 27, 2006, in Mt. Carmel, IL, she married Vic Sokeland.

Survivors include Her mother, Norma of Princeton, husband Vic Sokeland of Ft. Branch, IN. Other survivors include sons; Scott (Stephanie) Conway of Princeton, Michael (Charlotte) Hurt of Princeton and Gary Hurt of Ft. Branch, IN. She is also survived by daughters; Jessica Riley of Princeton, Jody (Jason) Wilson of Owensville, Misty (Joe) Kemper of Pevely, MO and Sarah Sokeland of De Soto, MO, brothers, Ron (Libby) Broadhurst and Mark Broadhurst, both of Frederick, MD and sister, Jane Ann (Colby) Littlepage of French Lick, IN. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ron Broadhurst.

Memorial services will be at 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the New Life Church of the Nazarene located at 328 E. Emerson St., Princeton, IN 47670 with Rev. Andrew Johnson officiating.
