Imogene Padgett, 87, of Francisco, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City, surrounded by her family.
She was born February 12, 1928 in Francisco, IN to William and Ethel (Broach) Phillips.
She was a member of the Princeton Holiness Tabernacle
Church. She loved God, her husband and family, sewing, gardening and planting
flowers.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Richard Padgett of Francisco;
children, Angela Jean Mearling, Richard Brent Padgett
and Steven Earl Wheeler; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; 1
great-great granddaughter; twin brother, Eugene; and a sister, Carol.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and 6 brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at the Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Larry Meadows officiating. Burial will be
in the Atkinson Chapel Cemetery in near Oatsville.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until service time on Saturday
at the funeral home.
Imogene was a very loving and caring mother who devoted her life mostly to God
and family. She will be missed dearly as she has left and gone to heaven
leaving an empty hole in many peoples' hearts. Special thanks to Good Samaritan
Nursing Home for their loving care.
