John K. (Jack) Massey, 86, passed away Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015 at his residence.

He was born Aug. 7, 1928 in Gibson County son of John Bedford and Lotus (Kolb) Massey Irwin.

Jack retired from Whirlpool and had worked for Potter and Brumfield as an inspector. He loved music and was a musician and Cartoonist at Potter's.

Survivors include daughters, Jackie and Shirley Massey, Stephanie (Stephen) Williams; daughter-in-law, Donna Massey; grandchildren, Jessica (Zach) Hoskins, Wendy Dearing, Amanda, Jenny and David Massey; several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sandra; sons, Johnny and Tony Massey; daughter-in-law, Kathy Massey; granddaughter, Kim Massey.

Services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Holders Funeral Home with Baret Fawbush officiating. Burial will be in Maumee Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until service time at the funeral home. Family would like to especially thank Stephen Williams for his extra special care that he extended to Jack.
