Marlow Kirk, 74 passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 at his home in rural Petersburg.

He was born in Polk County, Georgia, May 11, 1941 to Edward and Vennie (Carnes) Kirk, who preceded him in death. 

He had lived in rural Petersburg since 1995, moving there from Wheaton, IL. He was retired from Hartford Insurance, where he became a Vice President. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years, from 1960-1964. 

He survived by his wife, Amy, son, James Kirk of Chesapeake, VA and daughter, Jennifer Carnell of Rochester, MN; brother, Jack Kirk of Bullhead City, AZ; 6 grandchildren, Sydney, Nathan, Malcolm and Alex Kirk, and Aidan and Caitlin Carnell. 

There will be no visitation or services. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
