Minnie Marie Jones, 86, passed away Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, at Renaissance Villa, Rockdale, Texas.

She was born on Nov. 2, 1928, in Princeton to William and Myrtle Tyree. 

She was a loving and devoted mother and will be greatly missed. 

She is preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband Robert Ray Jones, and twin great granddaughters Abigail and Hannah.

She is survived by her brother, David L. Tyree of Houston, Texas, sons; William (Betsy) Jones of Rockdale, Texas, Larry (Evelyn) Jones of Ruston, Louisiana, and Bruce (Pam) Jones of Galveston, Texas; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015 at 9 a.m. at South Park Funeral Home, Houston, Texas, with the Funeral Service immediately following at 10 a.m.
