Jeanie Hensley 70 of Oakland City passed Sunday at her home.

She was born on December 9, 1944 in Danville, KY to Henry & Geneva (Webb) Murrell.

Jeanie was preceded in death by parents and Brother Gary Murrell.

Jeanie had worked many years ago at Powers Café, Francisco Market and
Dollar General Store in Oakland City. 

Survived by husband of 52 years Bruce Hensley; Daughters: Sonja Hurlock (Glen Highfill) and Marti Jo Ketterer of Oakland City, IN, Debbie (Lynn) Wilson and Tammy Louise Wallace of Decatur, IL; Son: Toby Hensley (Jess Jackson) of Oakland City, IN; (15) Grandchildren (4) Great Grandchildren; Brothers: Barry (Paula) Murrell of Winchester, TN, Dane Murrell of PA and James (Mary) Murrell of Huntingburg, IN. Sister: Joyce (Mark) Blessinger of Newburgh, IN .

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with Rev. Alec Hensley officiating. Burial will take place in Montgomery Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and from 10:00 A.M. until services on Thursday at the chapel.
