Thelma L. Brown, 79, of Princeton, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at The Waters of Princeton.
She was born March 27, 1936 in Evansville to Ed and Rosie (Young) Brown.
She had resided in Princeton since 1976 coming from Oakland
City and formerly of Evansville. She was a member of Oasis Assembly of God in
Princeton. Thelma was retired and had worked at Good Samaritan Home in Oakland
City and then worked in environmental services at Gibson General Hospital for
several years.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy (Brown) Johnson (David) and Betty
(Brown) Halbig (Keith) all of Princeton; 3
grandchildren, David Andrew “Andy” Johnson, Tyler Alderson and Dally Halbig; sister, Helen Stuckey of Evansville; and several
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Thomas Brown in 2003.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the
Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Brother Jeff Bryant officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
