Charles R. Richardson, 63, of Oakland City passed away on Thursday July 30, 2015 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN.

Charles was born on June 4, 1952 in Princeton to Cecil Richardson, Jr. and Jane (Maddox) Richardson.

He had lived in Oakland City for the last 37 years and attended the Mackey Church of the Nazarene in Mackey. 

He is survived by his wife Doris (Groves) Richardson of Oakland City; his mother, Jane Richardson of Owensville; 3 children, Debra Weisling (Kenneth, Jr.), Melissa Evans (Trevor), and Anthony Richardson (Angela), all of Oakland City, IN; sister, Vicki Richardson of Owensville, brother, Randy Richardson of Owensville, and sister, Cathy Watkins of Elizabethton, TN; 4 grandchildren, Storm Weisling, Courtney Weisling, Parker Evans, Patience Evans, and one more arriving soon. 

He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Lisa Farmer, and 2 grandchildren. 

Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, officiated by Pastor Chip Bullock. Burial will be at the Williams Cemetery in Pike County. Visitation will be from 11am until service time on Tuesday at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home.
