Meredith Armstrong Mahan, 92, passed away on Tuesday,
July 7, 2015 at the River Pointe Health Campus in Evansville.
She was born on February 7, 1923 in Princeton and
lived in Gibson County most all of her lifetime.
She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in
Princeton.
She is survived by her two daughters, Betty J. Altheide
of Newburgh, IN and Kathy A. Hobbs of Somerset, NJ; five grandchildren, Erika Nemergut, Greta Walters, Joshua Walters, Matthew Shutske and Angela Harrison; and twelve great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Arch Armstrong in 1998 and
her second husband, Glenn L. Mahan.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at the St.
Paul’s Episcopal Church, 301 S.E. 1st Street, Evansville, IN 47713, with Fr.
Roger Walker officiating. Burial will follow at the Columbia White Church
Cemetery in Princeton.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service hour
on Tuesday at the church. The family has entrusted the Colvin Funeral Home in
Princeton with the services.
