Norma June LaMar, age 91, passed away peacefully at her place of residence on July 26, 2015.

Born in 1924 in Hazleton, IN, she lived and raised her family in the Northwest Illinois areas of Carpentersville, Elgin and most recently, Crystal Lake.

She retired many years ago from Haeger Potteries in Dundee, Illinois. 

Survivors include her brother Bob Cooper, her two sons Archie (Diane) LaMar and Randy (Linda) LaMar, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. 
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, George T. and Blanche Cooper, her brothers Lewellyn Russell and Bill Cooper and her loving husband of 48 years, Lester T. LaMar. 

Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will follow in the Hazleton Community Cemetery in Hazleton, IN.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 PM on Friday at the Colvin Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are welcome to join us for a celebration of Norma’s life immediately following the services on Saturday.
