William M. Hill 73, of Mt. Olympus, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the St Mary’s Medical Center of Evansville, IN.

Bill was born January 17, 1942 in Pike County to Harold and Reba (Hurt) Hill, both whom have preceded.

Bill worked with WIN energy retiring as the Southern District Superintendent after 50 years of service.

On March 3, 1963 he married Judith Lindy at the Union Church. who preceded on January 5, 2005.

Bill was a former 4H leader and was also a member of the NWTF National Wild Turkey Federation. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and enjoyed his trips to Branson MO. He was also the Sexton for the Union Cemetery and attended the Mt Olive United Methodist Church.

Bill is survived by his 2 sons; David Michael (Connie) Hill of Mt Olympus, Russell (Erica) Hill of Wheeling, IN and Rick Williams of Francisco, IN, who was like a son to Bill. Grandchildren; Jacob M. Hill, Christian D. Hill, Kira Jo Hill, Shayla Clark and Kelsey (Kyle) Scherzer.

He is preceded by his parents, wife of 42 years, Judith and infant sister Judith Ann.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Mt Olympus Community Center located on St. Rd. 65 in Mt Olympus, IN with Rev. Julie Wood officiating. Internment will take place in Union Community Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 2:00 till 4:00 PM and from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M. also at the Mt. Olympus Community Center. All times are CST. The family has entrusted Doyle Funeral Home with handling of the arrangements.
