George R. Green III, 63, of Princeton, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at his home.

He was born on December 5, 1951 in Terre Haute, IN to the late, George William and Elizabeth (Campbell) Green.

He was retired from Kentucky Fried Chicken in Princeton, where he was a cook. He had lived in Princeton for the past 20 years, coming here from Vincennes, formerly living in Terre Haute. 

George is survived by his wife, Joyce A. Green of Princeton; 5 children, Steve and John Green, Jamia Keuthan, LaShay Mattox and Tamieka Green; 1 brother, Larry Green of Chicago; 3 sisters, Becky Bradford and Brenda Bradford both of Phoenix, AZ and Bernetta Morris of Vincennes, IN; 5 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Greater Holy Temple Church of Christ, 202 East Pinkney Street in Princeton, with Dr. W. W. Simmons and Pastor Kenneth Morris officiating.

Visitation with the family will be from 12 noon until the service hour on Wednesday at the church. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton is assisting the family.
