Helen LeEtta Beauchamp, born
October 28, 1934, passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 at Covington Manor
Rehabilitation Facility in Covington, TN.
LeEtta was a R.N. for over 50 years in Indiana,
Missouri, and Iowa. She spent 20 years as the Director of Nursing at Wirth
Osteopathic Hospital in Oakland City. Seeking a new challenge in nursing she
worked in the E.R. Dept. at Welborn Hospital in
downtown Evansville. She concluded her Indiana work experience in Occupational
Medicine with St, Mary’s Medical Center.
LeEtta and her husband retired to Brighton, TN to be
near their son and his wife. These last few years she was a member of Calvary
Baptist Church and volunteered at Covington Manor.
She is survived by her children Gwen Beauchamp, Tony (Connie) Beauchamp, Susan
Russell and Melisa Troy; grandchildren Esther Russell, Logan (Melissa) Russell,
Sawyer Russell, Nathan and Bailey Troy, Emily, Tony and Jesilyn
Jenkins and great-grandchildren Dominick White, Jazmyn and Jayden Troy-Battle.
She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Stella Fleener
Corn; In-laws Fred L. and Dorothy Reid Beauchamp; siblings Eugene Corn,
Clarence (Vivian) Corn, Jack (Marie) Corn, Thelma (Charles) Spinn
and Virginia Davis, husband Fred E. Beauchamp and son-in-law Steven Russell.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Corn-Colvin
Funeral Home in Oakland City. with Pastor Gary Watson
officiating. Burial will be at the Blackfoot Cemetery in Coe. Visitation will
be from 4 until 8 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Covington Manor and Cross Roads Hospice
during this difficult time.
