Mary E. (Spindler) Arnold, 87, of Princeton, IN, went home to be with the Lord on July 6, 2015 at her residence.  

She was born on Feb. 19, 1928 in Evansville, IN to the late Joseph and Lula (Hicks) Stratman.

She was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN.  Mary was retired from Whirlpool Corporation in Evansville, IN after 20 years of service.

Besides her parents Mary is also preceded in death by her first husband, Adam Spindler Jr., who passed away on Feb. 26, 1967, her second husband, Gilbert Arnold, who passed away on Dec. 14, 2003, and a son, William "Bill" Spindler.

Mary is survived by 6 children, Joyce Allen of Haubstadt, IN, Carolyn (Wilfred) Goedde of Wadesville, IN, Donna (Denny) Swader of Fort Branch, IN, Miriam Gauger of Evansville, IN, Bernie (Mary Sue) Spindler of Haubstadt, IN, and Wayne Spindler of Haubstadt, IN.  She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt, IN, Father Tony Ernst will be the celebrant.  Burial will be in the church cemetery. 

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN and again from 9:00 AM until service time at the church on Friday.
