Joe W. Winburne, 95, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at his residence.

He was born September 6, 1919 in Stevensville, TX.

Joe was a graduate of Pyron High School, served his country in the United States Army. Joe was a self employed General contractor and a Realtor. He was member of the Elks.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Mary (Wright) Winburne; brother, Jack Winburne; sister, Mary June Bokin; sister-in-law, Carol Newton, brother-in-law, John Wright

He was preceded in death by his parents, David L. and Bernice (Miller) Winburne; sister, Winfred Ferguson; brothers, Lavern, Alton and Noble Winburne.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. CST at the Owensville Cemetery with military rites being conducted by the retired military veterans. Jarrod Chattin will officiating. Holders Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
