Julian “Doyle” Pollock, 84, of Princeton passed away
on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at his home in Princeton.
He was born on December 3, 1930 in Princeton, IN to
William Ernst and Mildred (Powell) Pollock.
He worked at A & P Grocery for many years in
Princeton before moving to Nashville, Tennessee. He lived in Nashville until
1995, when he moved back to Princeton. He was in the Indiana National Guard,
1-163rd Field Artillery from 1947 to 1956. He was a member of the Enon General Baptist Church of Princeton. He was a member
of the American Legion Post 25 in Princeton.
He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Marilou
Goodson, Mary Lou Pollock, Louise Pollock and Quinith
Pollock all of Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 41 years, Mary Betty Pollock;
brothers, Joe, Ray, Richard, Ted, Jerry, David and Jack Pollock; and a sister,
Frances Collins.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Pastor Tammy Scheller.
Burial will in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch.
Visitation will be from 11 am until 1 pm on Thursday
at the funeral home.
