Phyllis J. (Martin) McClain, 81 passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015 at her home in Fort Wayne.

She was born in Gibson County, IN the daughter of Norman and Lucille Martin.

Phyllis sold antiques for over 30 years, was a charter member of St. Joseph United Methodist Church, past leader and board member of the Girl Scouts for over 20 years. She was an intrepid world traveler and a chapel organist at Parkview Hospital for over 20 years.

Surviving are her sons, Jay (Dawn), and Steven (Nikki) McClain both of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter, Jana (Matthew Benson) McClain of Carnation, WA; grandsons, Jason, Patrick, Caleb, Clayton and John; 10 great grandchildren.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Husband John McClain; sister, Nancy Schwake.

Services will be on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Bob Douglas officiating. Burial will be in the Blythe Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until the service time at the funeral home.
