Charles David Lewis, 40, of Princeton, passed away on
Saturday, June 13, 2015.
He was born in Princeton on June 19, 1974 and had
lived here most of his lifetime.
He graduated from Princeton Community High School in
the class of 1992. He had previously worked as a coal miner for Peabody,
Five-Star and Gibson County Coal and then most recently in maintenance for
Toyota. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Princeton.
He is survived by a daughter, Mackenzie A. Lewis of Princeton; his parents,
Charlie and Mary Ann (Reel) Lewis of Princeton; a sister and brother-in-law,
Jana and Brad Snyder of Princeton; 1 niece and 1 nephew, Jaysa
and Bram Snyder.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty and Woodrow Reel and Gladys
and Lyndelle Lewis.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the
Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Kevin Wilson officiating. Burial
will follow at the Walnut Hill Cemetery near Fort Branch.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of
service on Wednesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
