Mary “Ann” Wade, 85, of Princeton, passed away on
Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.
Ann was born in Owensville to Margaret (Boyle) and
Vertis Higginbotham.
She graduated from Owensville High School, and was a
member of the First Christian Church in Owensville. Ann was a devoted wife and
loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a talented singer,
pianist, and violinist, performing in several singing groups as a young woman.
She was also an avid reader.
Ann is survived by her sons, Jim (Kenya) Wade of Newburgh and Mark (Karla) Wade
of Mt. Olympus; grandsons, Jason (Bridgett), Aaron (Natalie), Nathan and Ryan
Wade; and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 49 years, Frank
Lynn Wade; stepmother; two brothers and one sister.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the
Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Father Ronald Zgunda
and Pastor Bart Newton officiating. Burial will be in the Maumee Cemetery in
Johnson.
Visitation will be from 10 am until service time on
Saturday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
