Jerry B. Richardson 75 of Oakland City, IN. entered rest on Tuesday May 26, 2015
at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, IN

He was born on July 20, 1939 in to Fred & Linnie (Boyd) Richardson.

Jerry was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. Jerry and Linda owned and operated Richardson Lumber Company for several years in Oakland City, later in life he worked and retired from East Gibson School Corporation as Maintenance Supervisor and Director of Transportation. Jerry was Mayor of Oakland City from 1972-1975 and has been Oakland City Council Man for 16 years. Jerry, served on the Gibson Council of Aging, Gibson County Community Foundation, Gibson General Hospital and Gibson County Health Foundation Boards 

Survived by wife of 55 years: Linda Minnis Richardson; Sons: Rick Richardson of Oakland City and Trent Richardson of Cincinnati, Ohio; Daughter: Libby Richardson of Jasper, IN; Sister: Barbara Barnes of Jasper, IN; Grandchildren: Nicole Richardson, Brittney Arnett, Zack and Hayley Richardson, Madeleine and Garrett Robling.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday May 31, 2015 at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel with burial in Montgomery Cemetery. Dr. Douglas Low and Rev. Alec Hensley will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday and from 8:00 A.M. Sunday at the chapel.
