“Joe” Roger Paul Mizeur, 70, of Princeton passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015.

He was born on May 31, 1944 in Pana, IL to Orville F. Mizeur & Norma T. Mizeur.

He was a past president and member of the Rotary club for over 40 years, and a Paul Harris member. Joe served on the Shawnee Trace Private Industry Council from 1984-2006, a past president & member of the Gibson General Hospital Foundation Board, President of Hansen’s Manufacturing from 1974-1979, owner and manager of Burt Products, Inc. from 1980-present. He loved spending time outdoors, riding ATV’s, deer hunting and farming. He also enjoyed coaching his sons’ basketball teams at the Boy’s Club & the little league baseball teams. 

He is survived by his wife Jane E. Mizeur, married since 1966; sisters: Shirley Jackson & Doris (Wilbur) Metzger; brother: O. Ralph “Fritz” (Carmen) Mizeur all of Pana, IL; children: Chad (Robin) Mizeur, Princeton, Matthew (Jacquelyn) Mizeur, Orange Park, FL & Luke (Fran) Mizeur, Canton, OH; grandchildren: Broderick, Braunson, Benton, Kaylee, Kenzie, Hunter, Alexis, Taylor & Cooper. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Jarmon Perkins. Burial will be at the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
