Truman C. Rice, 79, of Princeton passed away on
Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
He was born on January 6, 1936 in Byers, Texas.
He moved to Princeton in 1972. He was a retired Union
Iron Worker. He was a United States Army Infantry Veteran who served in the
Korean War and received the Korean Service Medal and the National Events
Service Medal. He was a member of the former VFW Post #1147, American Legion
Post #25, Eagles Aerie #361 and a life member of the DAV.
He is survived by his daughter, Dana Annette Rice and her husband, Kenny Parker
of Wicheta Falls, TX; son, Billy Carroll Rice of
Colorado; 1 sister; and a cousin, Mitzi McDaniel of New York.
He was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Debi Su Renn.
Memorial Services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Jarmon Perkins. Private burial
rites have been accorded.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until service time on
Monday at the funeral home.
