Bruce Wayne Donohoo, June
15, 1944 – April 2, 2015: Went home to be with our Lord Jesus this morning.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and a
brother Pat Donohoo.
Bruce was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Sonja Ann Kroeger Donohoo,
two sons Wayne (Missy) and Brad (Delanae), seven
grandkids, Dawna, Amber, Ashley, Brad-Lee, Luke, Rose, Bruce and four great
grandkids.
After graduating from Mackey High School Bruce worked at Kenny Cromer’s Garage,
Bootz, Whirlpool, A&C Construction, Ansco, Bower Bros, Peyronnin, and
Deig Bros. He belong to the Carpenters Union #90, he
was a member of St. John’s Church of Buckskin where he served on the church
council and in the youth ministry. He worked with the Webelos
and Boy Scouts and was also a Foster Parent. He was a member of Lynnville
Masonic Lodge, Enter Apprentice 3-12-2002, Fellow-Craft 4-11-2002, Master 6-1-2002 and served as Master of the Lodge in 2007.
Funeral Services with be held at 1 pm on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at Corn-Colvin
Funeral Home in Oakland City.
Viewing from 10:00 to 1:00 on Saturday with a Masonic
Service at 1:00pm. Burial will be at the Mackey Townsley Cemetery; there will
be a time for eulogies from the family and friends at the gravesite.
