Virginia L. Camp, passed away at home in Patoka, IN at
the age of 91, on Tuesday, April 28, 2015.
She was born October 16, 1923 to the late Samuel and
Amanda Robling.
To all her many friends she was "Gee Gee". She worked 39 years as a bookkeeper for
Gilbert-Stephens Co. After retirement she worked for Wanda’s Apparel for 3
years as a clerk. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church and
attended Hillside United Methodist Church. She was a 20 year Dialysis survivor.
She was married to Frank Camp, October 12, 1971. He
preceded her in death, January 2, 1979.
Also preceding her in death were 3 sisters, Thelma
Robling, Marie Wise and Golda Lindsay; 2 brothers, Dr. Victor Robling and
Edward Robling.
Surviving are a niece, Thelma Jean (Curtis) Casebier
of Sugarland, Texas and many other nieces and nephews. Also surviving are
special friends, Roy Wayne, Alice, Ryan, Jessica, Alex, Susan, Brayton, Hunter,
Myles, Kaitlyn, Kendall and Kylie Carey and Ava Little.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015
at Fairview Cemetery, east of Princeton, with Pastor Chris Neikirk
officiating. Burial will follow. Family and friends may gather at the Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton to go in procession to the cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
Saturday.
