Sarah Jane Taylor, 83, formerly of Newburgh, IN passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, IN.

She was born November 14, 1931 in Princeton, IN to Argle and Rachel (Wilhite) Bradshaw.

She retired in 1994 from Alcoa after 20 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She also loved to play clabber with her friends. 

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and John “Hansie” Dewig of Haubstadt; granddaughter, Rachelle (Jeff) Wade of Corinth, TX; and 2 great grandsons, Hunter and Grant Wade. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and infant daughter, Evelyn Gayle Taylor in 1953. 

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Rev. Chris Neikirk officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Ft. Branch, IN.

Visitation will be from 4 until 8 PM on Monday and from 10 AM until service time on Tuesday at the Colvin Funeral Home.
