Jack Onyett Stewart, 92, passed away March 22, 2015 (in Pontiac, IL.)

He was born April 21, 1922 in Fort Branch, IN son of John Wesley and Mary Marie (Onyett) Stewart.

Jack was a graduate of Fort Branch High School class of 1940, was a General Baptist Minister for 15years and following that was a United Methodist Minister for 59 years. He was a member of the Illinois Great River Conference and the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his children, Judith Anne (Dean) Imes and Jonathan Kent (Vicky) Stewart; grandchildren, Chad (Laura) Imes, Jennifer (Erik) Ueland, Dawn Imes, Zachary, Nicholas and Tyler Stewart; great-grandchildren, Zac, Jacob, Tobias, Brianna, Jetta, Noa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Nova Ellen Stewart on Jan. 13, 2015; brother, Norman.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sat. April 25, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Albion, IL with Rev. Steve Livengood officiating. Joint burial will follow in the Owensville Cemetery.

Holders Funeral Home in Owensville is assisting the family with theses arrangements.
