LaVeta (Garrett) Sprinkle, 71, formerly of Princeton, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.

She was born on Oct. 26, 1943 in Evansville to Walter and Clara Bell (Dike) Garrett.

She was a graduate of Owensville High School Class of 1961 and a member of the Columbia General Baptist Church. She had previously worked at Walmart as a cashier.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Sprinkle; daughter, Lisa (Thurby) Michels (John); step-children, Mike (Carol) Sprinkle, Jason (Simone) Sprinkle, Kim (Sprinkle) Harney (Mike); 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Sue (Garrett) McRaven; brother, Don Garrett.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Eddie, Roger, Lynn Garrett and June (Garrett) Campbell.

Services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. CDT at Columbia General Baptist Church with Pastor Ron Marsh officiating. Burial will be in the Columbia White Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. CDT Thurs. April 2 at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville.
