Charles Lee Neaveill, 74, of Owensville passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at home surrounded by his family and loved ones.

He was born February 26, 1941 in Posey County to Delbert J. and Mary Louise (Brandenstein) Neaveill.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Delores J. (Taylor) Neaveill; 4 children, Jeffrey L. Neaveill of Owensville; Debbie J (Randy) Adams of Fairbury, IL; David A (Linda) Neaveill of Paducah, KY; Lori A. Bye of Princeton; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a sister, Elizabeth “Ann” (Jerry) Dunkle of Friendsville, IL, brother, Marvin Dwayne Neaveill of Evansville, several nieces and nephews.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents.

He is a 1959 graduate of Owensville High School and a member of First Christian Church of Owensville. He was employed by Whirlpool Corporation retiring after 41 years of dedicated service and worked part-time for Custom Farms Services. Charles loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren, also loved the outdoors, animals, tinkering, helping others and an avid IU fan.

Services will be held on Saturday March 2l, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with Bart Newton officiating. Burial will be in the Owensville Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 pm at the funeral home. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Ahmed and his staff, as well as Deaconess VNA Hospice Health Services, nurses, and staff.
