Norma Jean Engler, 89,
passed away on March 2, 2015.
She was born on November 27, 1925 at Elberfeld, Indiana to Eli and Bertha Kohlmeyer.
She was a member of Broadway Christian Church, Beta
Sigma Phi Sorority, Cherry Grove Home Ec Club, and
Order of Eastern Star. She retired from Princeton Community Middle School. She
enjoyed watching I.U. and St. Louis Cardinals games on TV.
Norma Jean is survived by a son, Stephen (Shanyn) Engler of Phoenix, Arizona; granddaughter, Jaime (Dustin)
Hunt of Phoenix, Arizona; a great grandson, Gavin Hunt of Phoenix, Arizona; a
sister, Leona Englehardt of Elberfeld;
two brothers, Warren Kohlmeyer of Evansville and
Roger Kohlmeyer of Indianapolis; several nieces and
nephews; and great neighbors, Dick and Babs Johnson.
Norma Jean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Brett Engler; a sister, Dorothy May Breeden; 2 brothers, Wilfred Kohlmeyer and Floyd Kohlmeyer.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday March 8, 2015 at Colvin
Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. John Dunn officiating. Burial will be in
Walnut Hill Cemetery, Ft. Branch.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until 2:15 PM on Sunday
followed by a Beta Sigma Phi Sorority service.
