Betty J. White, 91 of Fort Branch, IN passed away on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 at the Heritage Center in Evansville, IN.

She was born to the late Charles and Irene Godwin on Sept. 15, 1923 in Princeton, IN.

 She was a member of the Fort Branch First Presbyterian Church, the Fort Branch VFW Post # 2714 Ladies Aux., a lifetime member of the Martha Rebekah Lodge, Grand Ladies Encampment Aux. of Ind. I.O.O.F., she was very proud that she was given the decoration of chivalry from the Sovereign Grand Lodge I.O.O.F.

Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Arthur White who passed away in 1988, and 2 brothers and 1 sister, Robert and Orval Godwin, and Mary Yeast.

Betty is survived by 4 children, Bobbie White of Fort Branch, IN, Anna Spindler Fort Branch, IN, Linda Wallis of Fort Branch, IN, Tony White of Evansville, and 1 sister, Jo Ann Stephens, of Princeton, IN.  She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Services for Betty will be Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home located in Fort Branch, IN, Rev. Cory Akins will officiate.  Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until service time at the funeral home.
